It’s getting hot in here and we’re all about helping you stay hydrated 🍻
Cue, last week’s dinner & drinks event. We had so much fun… we got thrown out of the bar we were at and ended up back at Hoppin House to finish the night 🙈
It’s not a fun party pic if there are no blurry faces 🫶
Many games were played (mostly Uno) and we’ll be doing this meetup again soon.
See you there!
🤗 NEWS
🌊 We’re spending 10 Weeks in Busan
After last year’s big success, Hoppin Busan Workation is back this summer and this autumn.
We have planned a series of 2-week-long themed workations. Each includes coliving, coworking, community activities, and special events.
☀️ Summer Workation - August 18 - September 1
Holiday and water vibes! Enjoy surfing, paddle boarding, beach volleyball, and sunset swims after work.🌏 Asia Nomads Workation - September 1 - 15
A cross-cultural experience of North East Asian countries. Connect with guests from Japan and Taiwan’s nomad communities and join the Digital Nomad Alliance Event.🎬 Startup & Film Workation - September 15 – 29
Ideal for creators, entrepreneurs, and founders. Join FlyAsia & BOUNCE startup events (pitch opportunities available for selected participants) and experience the star-studded Busan International Film Festival.💬 Korean Language Workation - October 10 – 24
Want to improve your Korean skills and experience deep cultural immersion? Practice language daily with hosts and locals, and participate in cultural events like K-pop dancing and cooking classes.
We’re staying in the same neighborhood as last year: Nampo-dong. Close to the sea, the area is famous for its local markets - Jagalchi, where you can get fresh fish, and Gukje, a historical market created back in 1945, after the end of the Japanese occupation.
Do you want to know what a workation in Busan is like? Here’s the video from last year’s crew of nomads 👇
This video was filmed & edited by Ana-Maria. Thank you for putting together these beautiful memories 🫶

🎬 Aaaand…
… we were on Korean National News
Sur-re-al!
Our community and space were featured in the national evening news 🙈
On June 6, MBC aired a segment about the Digital Nomad Visa.
Their team interviewed our community members: Marco (in Udo Island), Nicole (in Gangnam), and DNK founder Jeong (in Hoppin House).
We’re really hopeful this story helps raise broader awareness of the visa.
In the meantime, if you’re considering getting it, don’t forget to check our article with all the latest information and our dedicated WhatsApp and Discord groups.
See you next week!
