Our workation program, Hoppin Busan 2025, is in full gear, so we’ll be sending a few special newsletters until the end of October.

🎬 Startup & Film Workation: September 15–29 (2 weeks)

If you want to meet other founders, creators, film professionals, investors or curious nomads, join us!

You’ll get a private Studio/Suite in central Busan and access to the Busan Workation Center coworking. The coworking is stunning: big windows with a panoramic view of Busan, beanbags to take a nap, phone booths with comfy cushions…

The schedule is packed with events - the FlyAsia conference, a Startup W-Day, pitches, Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) vibes, curated networking, downtime at the beach...

  Partner introductions, startup pitches (pitch slots are limited by stage time - apply in advance!), networking mixers

🎞️ Busan International Film Festival Highlights

From September 17 to 26, the BIFF will light up Busan. Expect red carpets, premieres, screenings, open talks, conferences, special events… We’ll help you get the best experience of it while keeping your work schedule intact.

We wrote a guide to help you navigate the festival - if you’re a first timer and have no connections in the Korean cinema industry. If you’re a movie and TV show lover, you can see movies (with English subtitles!) meet the actors, directors, screenwriters, and other professionals involved in making them. 

And we’re organising a W-Day Film Night at Busan Workation Center on the 17.
