In the news today, our awesome community members have been organising many spontaneous events 🫰. Restaurant and bar meetups, hikes in Seoul’s mountains, a dinner in the terrasse of our coliving, Hoppin House. It’s been the perfect program for warmer days!
We’ve gone on workations to Jeju and Gokseong with our members, where we made makgeolli (fermented rice wine which tasted… interesting 😅) and relaxed by the ocean.
We’ve also welcomed three interns, Betty, Jayda and Maryam to help us with organising events and providing support to our tiny team. This community has been growing so fast and we’re so grateful you’re with us. Thank you! 💚
🥳 NEWS
Jeong (DNK’s founder) and Megan (our community member and travel advisor) are going to Bansko end of June for the Digital Nomad Festival.
They’ll be there to promote Korea as a destination and they’ll organize some events. We thought it would be cool if we could do a little DNK meetup over there. 🤗
If you’re interested in participating in the Festival, it’s from June 23rd to 30th, and we have a 10% discount code: DNKorea24.

Chris is Irish. Hard not to notice, with his bright red hair, his accent and his stories. But when he’s busy not being so Irish, Chris gladly embraces another cliche. He becomes the no-holidays entrepreneur, who works until 2AM, and eats random food bought at the corner 7/11. In Seoul’s weird, kind and charming people, he’s found fellow coffee addicts. Which is how a week-long visit has turned into four months, and maybe will soon become a two-year Digital Nomad visa...
💚 Chris’s Recommendations
+ 🎋 Cheonsudang Bakery, a cafe to feel like you’re in a Ghibli movie.+ 🍙 Kimbap Cheonguk, your kimbap stop for all 3AM food cravings.+ ☕️ Protokoll, a cafe with great coffee (and a nice (co)working space).
💌 Send us your digital nomad story and tips! We’d love to feature you in a future issue of this newsletter. You can answer this email or contact us through Instagram.
See you next month!
P.S. Talking of Jeju and Busan, the sea and workations… Stay tuned! We’ll soon announce a coworking and coliving program for next September. 🫶
